The establishment of KHA|SOE is driven by the desire to blend modernity with the cultural roots of Indonesia.

Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, with 1,340 ethnicity spans across 17,580 islands. therefore, Indonesia is rich with diverse culture and of traditional fabric. KHA|SOE mission is to incorporate Indonesia traditional fabric from various regions in every collection. In Indonesia, the term of traditional fabric is called [Wastra]. Wastra has a deep-rooted cultural significance that extend beyond its fabric thus also encapsulating a long history of artistic and cultural expression within its threads. through KHA|SOE we welcome you to the spectrum of, Wastra Indonesia.

In addition, as we strive to contribute to the preservation of the environment, we incorporate the traditional fabric [Wastra Indonesia] into our products through upcycle method. Working collaboratively with a micro small enterprise owned by Indonesian women across the nation, KHA|SOE acquires their surplus or discarded fabric to incorporate into our own.

PLASTIC TO BUTTONS

Indonesia is the world's second-largest contributor to marine plastic pollution, with an estimated 1.29 million metric tons of plastic waste entering its oceans annually. To take part in addressing this issue, we are upcycling plastic waste to create customized buttons for KHA|SOE

EMPOWERING THROUGH WRAPS

Lastly, we are  collaborating with unpriviliged village women in West Java to produce KHA|SOE packaging, from kha|soe boxes to our wrapping papers, as our standpoint and due diligence to empower indonesian women.

Through our presence, KHA|SOE aims to elevate Indonesian heritage, promote women empowerment, and serve as a playmaker in the emerald of equator, Indonesia, in the industry and of modern era.
